When your items arrive at the SuperBuy warehouse, you receive QC inspection photos. These photos are your only chance to catch problems before the item ships internationally. This guide provides a systematic checklist you can use for every order.
The 8-Point QC Checklist
Every set of QC photos should be reviewed against these eight points. Skip any of them and you risk receiving something you did not expect.
1. Overall Shape and Silhouette
Look at the item from a distance. Does it match the shape shown in the seller's listing photos? For shoes, check the toe box shape and heel curve. For hoodies, check the shoulder drop and overall drape. For jackets, check the panel structure and puff distribution.
2. Material Texture and Color
Zoom in on the fabric. Does the texture look like the material described? Suede should have a nap, leather should have grain, and French terry should show the looped back surface. Color accuracy is critical — check the item against official retail photos under the same lighting conditions.
3. Stitching Quality and Alignment
Look at the seams. Are they straight and evenly spaced? Crooked stitching is a common flaw on budget batches. Check high-stress areas like the crotch on pants, the underarms on shirts, and the sole attachment on shoes.
4. Hardware Weight and Feel
This is hard to judge from photos, but you can still see some things. Check if zipper pulls have the correct logo, if buttons have the right shape, and if eyelets are cleanly finished. Ask your agent for close-up photos of hardware if they are not clear enough.
5. Logo Placement and Embroidery
Logos should be centered and aligned with the item's structure. Embroidery should have consistent density and no loose threads. For printed logos, check that the edges are crisp and not bleeding. Compare placement against official measurements when available.
6. Tags and Labels
Tags are the quickest QC check. Is the neck tag the correct style for the season? Are the wash labels present and readable? Do they contain the correct country of origin and material composition? Some buyers do not care about tags, but for resale they matter.
7. Size Measurements
SuperBuy usually includes a measurement photo. Compare these numbers against the size chart you used when ordering. If the measurements are off by more than 2cm, request a size exchange before shipping.
8. Packaging and Accessories
Check if the item comes with the correct box, dust bag, or extra laces. If you ordered without a shoe box to save shipping, confirm that the shoes are properly protected. For accessories, make sure nothing is missing.
What to Do If You Find a Problem
If any of the eight points fail, you have options:
- Request a return or exchange within the 72-hour window
- Ask for additional photos if the angle was bad
- Request a measurement of a specific area you are unsure about
- Accept a partial refund if the flaw is minor and you can live with it
QC Photos vs In-Hand Photos
QC photos are taken under warehouse lighting. They are good for spotting construction flaws but not perfect for color accuracy. In-hand photos from Reddit are usually taken under natural light and give a better sense of color. Cross-reference both before you buy.
